Here I am,
Just another civilian,
Here I stand,
I'm one in a billion.
Hear my voice,
Getting muffled in the crowd,
Hear my choice,
I can only speak so loud.
A war of opinions,
Consumes the air,
No one will listen,
So should I care?
I yell to be heard,
Yet it comes out quiet,
Every single word,
Gets lost in the riot.
I feel alone,
Drowning in the masses,
I cast the first stone,
Yet I can't see it without glasses.
A war of opinions,
Consumes the air,
No one will listen,
So should I care?
Because here I am,
Just another civilian,
Here I stand,
Am I just one in a billion?
