Soon the rain,
Will wash away the sun,
For our lives are vain,
When we don't act as one.
Strength in number,
In this case that of two,
Together we awake from this slumber,
Just me and you.
Together we pace,
Down a long winding road,
Vis-à-vis, face-to-face,
We take on a world so cold.
But be not afraid,
For the future is ours,
Though we may fade,
Our story remains inscribed in the stars.
Hand in hand,
We light up the sky,
Shine upon the sand,
We will never have to say goodbye.
