I'll sit and wait,
A lifetime if I must,
In a fallacy of happy that you may create,
I hold the sin of lust.
I've found reason,
To believe in a god,
For in this deafening season,
He brought me to meet more then just another facade.
Someone I can trust,
Someone in which I can rely,
I slowly rust,
Truly I never want to say "goodbye".
We may only be friends,
Maybe we always will be,
But the hope she sends,
Momentarily sets me free.
Don't wake me up from this dream,
I know it is but make-believe,
Though happy I may seem,
It must just be in a dream's reprieve.
Living in a utopia,
A life of phantasmagoria,
Hidden in your hysteria,
You bring me euphoria.
