I will ask the question,
No one will answer,
You shriek at the mention,
More feared the cancer.
We look our loved ones in the eyes,
Saying how we feel inside,
How we feel like our will just dies,
And the self-righteous option of suicide.
We look in death's face,
Yet we are not afraid,
We live in disgrace,
Marching in a malevolent parade.
Is this really your decision?
Why must death be so tempting?
It isn't about love, but precision,
A departure so unrelenting.
I promise you,
There are better ways,
My care is true,
Life is but a misleading maze.
Together we will win,
A fight against all we fear,
You won't commit this sin,
Because for you, I will always be here.
